In an exclusive interview with Marx of the Ninepins, Mech Tribune can
present the news of his gambling-problems. After the dissapointment in
Battle of the Captains, Marx went right away to get rid of his Champion. He
is said to have put it at stake against a well known billionaire. He still
has not told us about the outcome of the betting, but he was heard saying
"It would be darn nice to get rid of that old Champion, it could not even
take a shot from the incompetent Liao a-holes". More news to come in next
issue of Mech Tribune.

Davion: New Avalon Sun published som naughty pics with Tom Tompson and his
mistress, Tom sued the paper and got 500 000 C-Bills as ruled by the court.

Steiner: Goebbles thought he could ride his luck wave after Battle of Captains
and bet almost half his teams money on horses, and lost. Not popular among steiners.

Oberon: Jawohl and Pvt. Spooky will have a personal grudge to take care of in the
battlefield shortly, Jawohl challenged Spooky to the death, the reason is unknown
but we have reporters on that.

Liao: Major sponsors of this team have been discovered with taxevasion resulting in
cuts of Liao funds in the upcoming games

Ryan: The team was approached by a know billionaire to gamble with one of the teams mechs,
Ryan has not yet decided whether to gamble or not, if he wins he could gain a new mech.

I read in a exclusive interview with the commander of our proud team at the
Solaris mechgames, Herman Göring. We got the news that maybe he will not
participate in the upcoming battle of the captains, because he and his
team have gotten an invitation to dine with our beloved Archon, he wasn't
sure what would be on the menu but he hoped for Sauerkraut und Knackwurst,
his and the whole of the Lyran Commonwealths favorite meal. Herr Göring
reported that he rather have his belly full with Knackwurst than with
uranium slugs from a AC20.

I read below that Liao thinks that we ganged up on him in
the Mechwarrior in the Universe competition.
Thats incredible strange considering that no warrior
has the speed to gang up on a pilot that surrendered so fast!
We didn't even had the time to fasten our seatbelts until we
heard the Judges declare the Liao Atlas out of the game, finished
by a few fast shots from Ecke. I even doubt that those rounds
penetrated our armour, Captain Dead.

Attention!!! -Comments from the Yoda Mansion

Liao accuses Kurita for being infected by the Yakuza, this is obviously
a lie, and I lost my little fingers when cleaning the AC 10!
Punisher has sworn to kill all criminals walking around in the universe
and the Draconis offer him to do it LEGALLY! Due to his barbaric behavior
some bystanders got wasted some years ago, but it was not a SINGLE noble
among the victims!
So, we view Punisher as good recourse in the coming games with a clean
criminal record.
I have to check the rumors with the cryofrozen maniacs, I may be old,

About Liao and Steiner making a pact is ludicrous. Steiner and Davion are
our sworn enemy and any one beliveing such obvious propaganda( Who would
benefit in such a rumour is not known at this time.) is daft and should be

Have the Yakuza taken over the Kurita rulership?

How else can you explain that the new leader for the Kuritan team is a
demented criminal that openly admit that he have killed 25 cops and
massacred 100:eds of innocent bystanders in a shoping mall. I can't belive
what I am hearing, the proud Draconis Combine that shuns criminals and
pride their honor above all, sends a twisted madman as the leader of their
team at the Mech games. The teams should consist of the best and finest a
house can put forth(That's why Davion did so poorly the last season).
But I think I have a explanation for this behavior from the Kurita side.
They clearly want this Punisher character dead, but being a democratic
and just government they can't just kill him, so they send him to the Mech
games hoping for his death at the hands of us superior mechwarriors.
And I tell you your wish is about to become true Takashi Kurita I swear
Punisher will not leave the Battle of the Captaions alive( unless some
Davion scum helps him out and gangs up on me as they did on Mechwarrior of
the universe).

Rest in pieces Punisher your time as a lowlife is soon to end.

I'm still stuck on Prison planet 48, it's very alone here since Mad
Doctor Basecase escaped. But, do not celebrate yet, I know that the next
cargovessel will arrive the 19 of Dec and I will for sure rip the head
of the pilot and get back to the hangar where my King Crab is waiting.
The old Yoda has, what I understand, signed a treaty with Mariks
Hellsurfers as an answer on the pathetic Liao-Steiner "lets be friends
instead of hurting each other, darling" f**king treaty. OK Hellsurfers,
welcome to the (remaining of) Yoda Family. More news, I have reqruited a
couple of new, blood thirsty, pilots here. Since all severe criminals
since the 20 century has been cryo frosen in this place. I just throw
the icecube in a microwave and out comes one of the worst, dirty serial
killer the world have ever seen-and that combined with titanprotected
mechs in their hands will create a oil-blood-steel-mess in the other
teams this season. My first goal is to terminate the Liaos so that they
can never put at team in the competition anymore, second to vaporize the
ultra-coward Captain that doesn't even has his name on the Gameworlds
page, see you in tha battle of the captains, or I will personally pay a
visit to you home and brake your neck. !!!

To win the competition is not a goal, its inevitable.

Davion Dragons, The New Team From Davion

Davion also announced their intention to change their team
name this year. The reason is said to be the lack of Bradys...
Therefore Tom Tompson Jr have taken the decision to change
the name to Davion Dragons.

Philosophizing Ninepins, the new team from Red Jack Ryan.

Without the firm grip of late Ho Chi Minh it seems impossible
to unite the commies in the world into one team.
Since his passing-away we have noticed a distinct decrease in
interest in the so called "mech-mölj" among the comrades.

Marx says in an interwiew: "But I still feel it's my duty to defend
the Red Jack Ryan-banner. I am the sole survivor of the whole first
season in our team. I am therefore taking command of a new team,
consisting of Philosopher-friends of mine."

The negotiations with pilots for this season had these results.
Joels Morsa and Breznjev signed for another year, to keep the
stability from last season. Pilosophizing Ninepins have also contracted
three rookies: Descartes, Hegel and Socrates.
The new team weren't able to fulfill the demands that Ai Coque had,
so his contract has not been renewed.

People say the he have had a nervous breakdown and can't stand

The name of the design is Ogre and weights 85 tons.

Marik-Kurita pact are much stronger than Liao-Steiner.

Heard a rumour that the great leader Redjack Ryan
is negotiating with a new sponsor for the team for
next season. The same rumour says that some tough
qualification-rounds for applying new pilots is being
held right now. What the new teamname will be is still
not known, but it's a well known fact that Ryan is aiming
higher this season, and that he was very disappointed with
the performance of 'Red Old Commies' including many of its
pilots. More news to come on the subject...

I must say this, Glory to the brave!
During our common fight against the Comstar to defend our way of life
no team fought harder than the Steiners. I am not saying they used any good
tactics or did much harm to the Comstar mechs. But the fought with all
they had and 4 of their pilot died in the struggle. I bow my head in
respect for these brave warriors, and send them a short parayer of thanks
for there struggle for us all. At least Steiner have honor that seems to
be totally lacking in ther alies, Davion.

I hereby declare last years tournament as void, because of the
interference by the Comstar, the would to be winners Liao Death Heads
got cheated of their victory. So I demand that the Ghost Riders return
the Price money that will get added to this seasons price money.

But as I know the Ghost Riders are in despearat need of money for bribes
and ther decadent living (Drugs and Sex's and some more Drugs) I don't
expect them to do so, But at least they can openly admit that they would
never have won if not for the interference of Comstar. And that the
real winners would have been the Liao Death Heads. That Liao Death Heads
are the undisputed champions and we will prove that this season.
