Post Game Events

This is where the fun stuff comes in and the work for the Battlemaster starts, which is they guy who is a kind of refree and makes everything happen behind the scenes.
At this time in the process you will have a bunch of played games with stats and scores. The first thing you have to do is have each player roll on the random event table, this can affect the team in good or bad ways.
The random event generator can be found under tools and is a small program in BASIC.
The basic program contains pretty much everything you need such as mech displays for houses and random match generator. When random events are rolled up the Battlemaster has to go to work, the files saved by Mecforce can easily be edited with a hexeditor and thus giving the teams what they need. For example if your team rolled a 1 million sponsorship deal on the random events table, the Battlemaster simply adds 1 million to the team tresury by editing in the file with a hexeditor.

If you rolled something you can't edit you have to record it on paper and remember it, but you can edit skills, character points, and attributes, so much can be done with the hexeditor.
After everything is edited and done, you should sum up the stats and give them to the players to marvel and crave for the next round of combat! Personally we did a newspaper style thing in addition to the statsheets, this gives the players a forum to talk to eachother and have game-recaps written along with other news.
You can examine ours under the recaps button. All text is original, not even the spelling errors have been corrected, from the Amiga written in the summer of 1991. You can also check out the teams that competed in our league for the glory and C-bills.
